8 Tips on Throwing the Most Amazing Bachelorette Party ...

By Lisa

With wedding season coming up, I thought you girls might be in need of some tips on throwing a bachelorette party! Throwing a bachelorette party is a lot of fun but can also be a lot of work. Although the wedding takes center stage, the bachelorette party is still pretty darn important. You want the bride to have a memorable night out with her friends, so make sure you take note of some of these tips on throwing a bachelorette party!

1 Keep Her in Mind

One of the party tips on throwing a bachelorette party that you’ll definitely want to keep in mind while you’re planning is to keep the bride in mind. Make the party about her and how she’ll have the most fun. Even if you want to play drinking games and dance the night away, if she’s more comfortable at a spa or lounge, make sure you plan the party accordingly. Talk to her about what her wants and likes before you plan to ensure the party is in her taste!

2 Talk to Her Friends

Sometimes, a bride’s bridal party won’t all know one another so it’s smart to talk to everyone about the party beforehand. Make sure everyone is comfortable and agreeable with all the plans for the night. It’s also a great way to get ideas about the festivities and get help with all the planning! Also, you want everyone on the same page as far as paying for things, so get it all locked down upfront!

3 Plan Early

You can bet that any fabulous event that ever took place took weeks or months of planning. If you want to create a memorable night for the bride, make sure you start all your party planning early. If you’re still weeks away from the event, you can easily adjust some plans and you’re still good to go. Planning early can also help give everyone more time to raise funds for the festivities!

4 Create an Itinerary

Making an itinerary of the bachelorette party might sound like one of the more boring party tips, but it helps. This way, your guests are aware of the events, where they are going, what they are doing and they’ll know all the details in advance. Having an itinerary is also helpful in keeping on top of things so you can double check on the details.

5 Make Her Stand out

One of the most important tips on throwing a bachelorette party is to make the bride stand out! Not only will this signify that it’s her last single girl night out, it’s a great way for her to get free drinks! Whether she wants to keep the occasion low-key or not, make or buy her something that’s her style that’ll help her stand out from the crowd during her party!

6 Dress the Girls up

Another fun way to celebrate the bachelorette party is for all the bridesmaids to dress alike. You don’t all have to wear matching outfits from head-to-toe, but wearing customized shirts, the same color or wearing a necklace or something that’s unique to the bride is a great way to commemorate the night of fun with your friends!

7 Don’t Let Her Pay

The bachelorette party is all about the bride, so make sure you don’t let her pay for anything! If you’re planning a weekend getaway away from home, it’s okay for her to pay for her transportation but nothing more. This is another reason it’s imperative to have the money talk with others and have things paid for upfront so you’re not stuck footing the bill or arguing with fellow bridesmaids.

8 Don’t Forget the Party Favors

Every bachelorette party I’ve ever been to has had some memorable and sometimes questionable party favors! Whichever route you go, make sure you provide some kind of party gift or favor for all the attendees so they can remember the night of fun. Make goody bags or pass out trinkets that the girls can use or wear the night of the party!

I hope these tips on throwing a bachelorette party will come in handy for you. You want the bride and bridal party to have fond memories of the bachelorette party so make sure you take your party planning duties seriously! Do you have any party planning tips you want to share?
