You just need to accept the fact that planning a wedding is going to take over your life for a short period of time, and that means that you will be sharing information and stories related to it with anyone who has an ear close by!

Quiet Middle Period
With wedding planning, it’s fair to say that everything happens at the beginning and everything happens at the end, and the in-between time is this weird kind of period of waiting that can sometimes make you feel like you aren’t being productive. You will get all of your major planning done in the first few weeks and months, and it’s after that they people get in danger of going overboard just to make themselves feel busy. Prepare for Baby Questions
Not content that you are just getting married, people are going to start asking you baby and pregnancy questions right off the bat! It’s best to just let them slide over you because you really don’t need that extra hassle whilst you are trying to organise the best day of your life! Don’t get annoyed that they are asking you about babies rather than your wedding, because the more stressed out you are, the less fun your wedding planning is going to be. Just give them a generic answer and move along with your day.

Everyone’s an Expert
Be prepared to be bombarded with tips and advice from every single person that you know, even the ones who aren’t actually married! Everybody thinks that they are an expert when it comes to ceremony and party planning, so stay strong and make sure that you only follow the advice that you like rather than trying to make everyone happy and feeling helpful. At the end of the day, the only couple getting married at your wedding is your and your bae, so it doesn’t matter what other people think would be a good idea!
